This exciting post has been developed in partnership with the Scottish Football Association, for a period up to 31 March 2010 in the first instance.
You will undertake the lead role for the management and delivery of the Dumfries and Galloway Target Sport Action for football contributing locally to the aims of the SFA Youth Action Plan.
Working closely with key local and national partners, you will increase participation in football through the provision of a suitable player pathway and a programme of club and coach development.
You must hold the SFA B Licence, SFA Youth Licence or the SFA Children’s Licence plus the Level 4 Youth Award.
You will provide evidence of managing and developing programmes within this field, have excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate.
You must demonstrate partnership working and have experience in budget management, marketing, report writing and managing projects.
A current driving licence and access to a car is required for which the appropriate allowance will be paid. Benefits include a relocation package and free life cover.
