Just to bring your attention to one of our members Chris O'Loughlin, who is currently finishing his UEFA A licence. I know recently Chris has been able to coach some Spanish Youth sides for his practical side of the course. I think one was Valencia and the other I can't recall for now but I think you could gain an insight to the youth set ups of these Liga clubs.

It is a pleasure for us to have someone as yourself amongst us and I hope that you gain from being a member.

Who do you consider to be the best 'current' Football Coach?

Josep Guardiola

Why do you consider this Coach to be the best?

Because he has turned FC Barcelona around. The club had a very talented group of players who were underachieving. Through psychology, leading by example and working on strategies and set pieces, Guardiola has created a side that is currently playing the most attractive football in Spain, if not the world at the moment.

What do you hope to gain from the 'Football Coaches' website?

I'm not a coach but a writer and have recently set up my own website on Spanish football as part of the research project for my next book. I'm here to listen, learn and establish contact with true professionals.
